Slightly different thread here as I am thinking along different lines..
In my mij charvel I have decided that I need to go H/S/S with a JBjr in the bridge (thanks to youtube) I know that SD's 'Everything axe.. set' sort of covers the ground here but having heard lots of audio I really dont want a lil'59 in the neck - a great pick up it is but seems very PAF voiced and I want something with more bite and definition. Would an SSL-5 fit the mould - possibly in neck and middle?
