Been 'round and 'round about that 12/6 double neck for years...
OK, it's an SG (small, thin lightweight body), two necks (one of them is a huge head with 12 tuners), = neck dive++!!! (in addition to a heavy guitar in total).
Yes, it has the audience WOW factor, is unique and very cool looking, but very difficult to play, even if you could control the neck dive. No thanks. Not for me at any price. Only reasonable for collectors.

I think it only has a WOW factor for casual music fans. Certainly from most musicians it just gets an eye roll.

never understood the purpose, even in LZ, the 12 strings sound lame to me amplified, don't have the harmonic complexity of a rickenbacker

i think its a functional piece. if you need 12 and 6, ala zepplin, then its fine. otherwise its an overly heavy awkward piece of kit i have no need for.
