JIMMY PAGE pickup with GIBSON LP & MARSHALL

This is test of Seymour Duncan Whole Lotta humbucker in bridge position. There are some solo lines and riffs from ZEPP, AC/DC, RATM, METALLICA, POLICE etc.
Guitar is GIBSON LP Custom Slash signature through MARSHALL JVM 205H orange/green OD channel.

It's not emulation of Jimmy Page tone. I just installed pup into Gibson LP and cranked my JVM.
Video shows how the pup is behaving with medium to high gain - orange channel is set to 12 o'clock..
I think it's very clear and punchy, with really nice string separation. It's also very fast/responding
for solo licks.

Let me know what you think in comments &
Keep rockin' ! :yourock:

Great Job. Sounds great. Thanks for sharing.
Do you like it more than the original Slash bridge pickup?

Yes! Original APH-1 Alnico II pro's that came with guitar are very bright.
Treblish and piercing. They sure nail that USE YOUR ILLUSION album tone but only usable in that context.
I found them to be spiky and overall to bright.

You can check how they sound in similar set-up. I recorded videos with original electronic:

Re: JIMMY PAGE pickup with GIBSON LP & MARSHALL

Thx.
I used the A2P's for a while and always thought that I would love to have the bridge wound with a tad more heat. I was interested in the Slash models but I bought the WLH's instead and I've used them for the past 2 years. I was always curious on how they compared.
