Just had to put up a rave about these new tubes in my Savage 120, its sounding incredible! Just so thick and rich and chunky on that channel 4 rouch mode...i just cant stop playing it! And thats just with my cheap jackson with a JB and jackson licensed floyd...im looking forward to getting a CC in my les paul and getting that pumping through it!

As a lot of you already know its got new JJ KT88's as recommended by Bob at eurotubes (surprise surprise) along with JJ ECC83S's and a high gain graded JJ ECC83S in V1...and channel 4 (which is pretty much the only gain channel ive been using) absolutely screams!

The cleans and crunches are also sounding magnificent too, cleans are so thick and full and warm sounding...once again, great sound from this amp! I would happily get up on stage for a clean jazz gig, the cleans are sounding great!

Cheers, just had to tell you all how good its sounding :D

Have you gotten along with that Komet 60 yet? I know it's loud, but was there a power issue, since you live in Australia and the amp is U.S. made?

Nah its fine, i just had to change over a varistor and a rewire a couple of wires...it was made to operate with either power types just with the change of a couple of wires.

The komet's great :D

EDIT: Although i do need to buy an attenuator for it quite badly ;)
