JJ Tesla KT77 vs EL34,E34Ls

Has anybody here used JJ Tesla KT77 tubes in place of EL34's ? The euro site says more chunk than crunch when saturated. Looks like a good metal tube. Tone vs El34's. Thoughts/comments ? Thx.

JJ KT77 has more chunk and saturation, than EL34L, definitely.

However, at least with my setup (TriAxis and VHT2502), the EL34L is more aggressive sounding, and has wider bass. It depends on one's taste, of course.

I prefer EL34L for clean sound too, because it is glassier sounding.

I put them in my Carvin V3. I prefer them over EL-34's

I took a couple of friends hunting for EL34L tubes. Didn't find any. Came back with a snipe though.
