Does anyone know why the white version was significantly more affordable than the blackheart version?

The only difference i can tell is the inlays and finish.

Anyone have one or both of these ?

How do they play?

I had one of the first white ones. It was one of the best guitars I've ever owned. I wish I still owned it. I troll ebay for one daily.

yeah i really want a white one. or hell even a black one but i dont understand gibson's logic in such a HUGE MSRP difference between two nearly identical guitars.

i actually like the heart inlays. idk.

i love traditional artwork for tattoos that utilize heart motifs.

whats keeping me from it, is the 900 bucks they want compared to the couple hundred i coulda saved had i bought the white one when it first came out. Im kicking myself.

I liked these ALOT! Price was good for a Gibson and it was understated (esp for a sig guitar) but cool and a man could play it. the new ones are too fem with the hearts and all.. I was wondering how these played and sounded. I liked the stripped down look and kill switch.

They were $799 new used on ebay they are going for about $850-$1000 as of the last few months.

of course.. They are a Gibson collectable.. will be $20k in 10 yrs.

$@#!$@#$ Shame.. Id love to have one for 800, but not for $1000 or more. are they worth it even? Ive never played one..
