Joyo Zombie

Guys........just picked up a Joyo Bantamp Zombie on a whim for like $169.00 and holy s**t what a little beast. Running it straight into a Marshall 2×12 and .....wow! Don't let anyone say it's not loud enough for jamming with a drummer. BS! I can't believe how good this thing sounds with zero pedals/effects. Wish these had been around when I was younger (mid '90's). If you need a bedroom/practice amp, II'm sure something in their mini series will work for ya. Sorry no sound clips.

Re: Joyo Zombie

Glad you like it. It sounded promising/good and I'm sure it's a fine amp. Still, for me, it filled a niche I didn't need filled (that sounds dirty somehow...).
My 5W ss Hotone Heart attack is just amazing for these low to med-low volume practices. If I can afford to go higher volume then my bigger amps (between 15 and 100W) all fit the role perfectly so there's no need (for me) for a 20W SS head...

Re: Joyo Zombie

Congrats with your new amp mate, glad to hear you like it!! Joyo is often underrated unfortunately, both their effects and there amps! They got some good stuff for little money! Always a winning combo to me! Have fun with your Zombie!! ;)

Re: Joyo Zombie

Yeah I really didn't need another small practice amp but this one sounded too good to pass up and ended up being well worth it. I still have a Yamaha THR10, Nano Purple Wind, Ibanez TSA15 and numerous others . I find that almost all of my playing these days is pretty much restricted to home and less than ear splitting volumes. I just picked up a new laptop and am hoping to finally get some sort of recording rig set up. I have the Cubase software that came with my Yamaha and I am hoping to being able to figure it out...haha.

Re: Joyo Zombie

Looks cool and the video I saw sounded good. I'm a little put off when a company says you'll probably need a noise gate with their product though. If it's that much of an issue build one in.

Re: Joyo Zombie

No noise issues with the unit I got. I had seen that mentioned in a couple of reviews and was expecting to hear much more noise.

Re: Joyo Zombie

I have some of there preamp pedals
and they buzz
if you dime all the knobs

if you crank the gain on most electronic devices
you will get some feedback
