Buy a used one!

For example this one:

990$ ain't that much...

be patient and search around on Ebay, other internet markets and as well all local markets. I got my Bluesbreaker RI (JTM45) for 700€, which would be 860$. I don't consider that breaking the bank at all.

It still depends on what you consider bank breaking ;) :)

Actually it is the Bluesbreaker that I've been Gassing for. And no $860 would be about right...

Re: Jtm-45 question

When I was in the search for one...I read about some guys getting them for under 1000$ and thought why can't I find one for such a low price. I couldn't find a cheap one anywhere and almost gave up. Suddenly, when I checked a local internet marketing site a found one. About 150 kilometers away, so I talked to the guy over email and then drove over there and bought it :)

Be patient...you'll find one. Keep searching and don't rush even though it's easier said than done when GASsing for something ;)

Re: Jtm-45 question

JTM-45s are great amps. You can get so many different tones from pick attack. They have sweet distortion and sustain when they're dug into and they're always clear and articulate! I love that side of my Epic 30 DC and it's become one of my favorite overdriven sounds of all time.

As the others have said. Be patient and you'll eventually get a great deal on one. Around one grand is a very realistic price and it shouldn't take a long time before you find one in that price range (especially considering not a lot of musicians really like that style of an amp anymore).
