Hello buddy....I did a search under the Valvetronix amp and didn't see anything newly posted from you about it? Hope you still have it and that all is working ok with it?

Tomorrow I hope to complete my Boss GE-7 pedal as I now have the better chips and some cap values I lacked.It already was quieter but it should be even better upon completion.I tryed it through the effects loop and I really liked the extra tonal tweaks it offered...If you have more to tell about your amp,by all means,please do!

John, its good to see you back brother!!! How was the trip? BTW, I am Pysched to hear what the better chips and cap values do to the GE-7. Keep us informed buddy.

Welcome back John, hope that you and the family had a great time! I've been slowly going through the different aspects of what this awsome amp will do. I've dialed in some great single coil and humbucker settings. I've spent quite a bit of time with the Soldano and the plexi and love everything about both of them. I'm still working on the others to dial them in. The only setting that I am really dissapointed in is the JCM 900. I can't seem to get it to sound good no matter what I do to tweak it. I remember your initial problems with the Marshall settings not getting the hard midrange that Marshall is known for. But as for the others, I seem to be getting a pretty good tone.

Hello all...Vacation was great,still spending some time with our friends in Georgia,but we'll be leaving shortly and heading back to Florida...I have alot of e mails and overall catching up to do tonight when we arrive home!

JM...The JCM 900 setting is pretty lame and it's the same scenario I've had with it...You may also be having an easier time dialing in your presets because of the cab you are using? I will say that I think the eq in my situation should help..I'm able to hone in on the areas of the tone alot better now,though I do lose the stereo spread when it's plugged in...It's not a big deal and I can just reach around and unplug the eq for the other tweaked amp model tones I've dialed in...After I complete the Boss GE7 I'll be able to spend more time listening and tweaking...If you'd like a certain preset tone I've created,please let me know....I think swapping tones would be a cool thing we could do for each other..Anyway...We'll talk more upon my arrival home....Later guys..
