Really great cream123. Here's a tip. Synth's take up a huge amount of the frequency spectrum, try putting a low cut filter on the big pad synths and any other synth that sounds huge - try the low cut at 380Hz. Leave the bass synth with a hi pass or or low cut filter on at about 50Hz or higher but no higher than say 80Hz.
Much better. Here is a chart that shows the fundamental frequency ranges of some instruments and voice. If you learn about subtractive EQ you can cut frequencies below the fundamental and clean up the mix. Part of mixing is about getting things to sit in their proper ranges without stepping on other things.
