Just bought a Behringer V-AMP Pro, what other goodies do I need?

By other goodies I mean what do I need to go direct into my PC? All I have now is the Sound Blaster Live and all that has is Line-In so I think it's totally not gonna cut it. This thing has stereo outputs, digital, xlr, etc.

Whats a reasonably priced audio input device? I have plenty of USB and Firewire ports available.

You should have a good quality audio interface. A good value is the Digidesign Mbox mini. The retail for under $300 and it comes with Pro tools LE. This will give you most of the tools you need to record at home. The Mbox is also a mic preamp, so you can plug a mic in and record acoustic guitar/vocals (you might need a compressor for vocals though) really well. There are others; some people prefer the Maudio. These come with Cubase instead of Pro tools, but I feel pro tools is becoming more of the standard. This will give you the ability to record at home in PT, then if necessary bring the files into a high level studio and work with them easier seeing that most studios are using PT. Pro tools has a lot of plug ins that can be added as uor needs change as well.
