Just bought my FIRST manufactured pedalboard!

Aceman

I am your doctor of love!
I have been kind of wanting to put together a board-du-jour for whatever.

Blues Mood - Stamps Drive-O-Matic, T-Rex Viper, BBE Two Timer, maybe a Tremolo, and my Holy Grail
Brootal Boord - EHX Metal Muff, DD-3, RV-3
VH Board - Phase 90, Flanger, Plexi-drive Mini, Boost DLA for Tape echo, RV-3

Whatever the style of the month might be...so instead of building, I went commercial and ordered one of these! I got the small - should be perfect for a 4-6 pedal board of the moment.

I love it. Very cool and practical for different gigs. How does it lock into position?

While I like the idea, I know adding pedals to a board means a lot more wire, and possibly a new power supply. I just don't see myself doing it. It is a PITA to wire up a board as it is, much less modify it for different gigs.

Yeah - but like I said, this is just for around the house. so 3/4 patch cables and One Spot is all it will take.

I did not mean show to show. More like different projects. Most times I just need a small board. Seeing I am in two projects in the same rehearsal space I am using the PT Pro currently. If I dropped one project I could go back to a smaller board.

I'll plug different ODs, lead-channel distortions and character drives into their respective spots on my boards as desired.
But layout, cabling, & power remain unchanged.

The PB i wanted was like $450 and i couldn't justify spending that much but congrats.
I'll just stick with my home-grown.

I like that pedal board idea alot.

Lately, I've noticed the ultra high end pedal board market showing up in my guitar stores.. literally 800-1500 dollard hand crafted wood cases that open or fold into a pedal board within velvet lining, integrated side jacks and power etc etc -

These make no sense to me, but hey, they do to someone.

Makes total sense for a Blues lawyer, who never plays outside his man-den with Fender lightly worn relic American Custom shop Tele, into his Victoria Twin amp, his Cali76 compressor, his hand wired TS808 (on Stevie Tay's fave strings!), a Strymon El Capistan, and a Source Audio Reverb.

Similar but unrelated....for the shooters

Clue mating dance... :lmao:

Reminds me of when everyone ran out and bought 40s and abandoned 9s for self defense guns because of some Police Forces wanting more stopping power 20 years ago.

Suddenly all 9s were sh*t. :)
