It came with a pickguard & i like pickguards if they're already on but this one has never had screws, no way im fuggin up that top.

There were a couple issues. The 5th fret inlay was a tiny bit loose. Im actually stunned as thats a Factory thing, i little glue and its fine.

I play D'Addario .011 to .056 and the low E locking Grover wouldn't lock on the .056 due to the large diameter which is weird cuz i have locking Klusons on my SG Standard and they work fine. Had to drill the hole a tad, all is good with that too.

I can tell a difference with the push/pull out of phase tone pot but didn't notice a huge difference in the coil tap sound wise.

Plays like a dream, sounds even better ... i'll keep it !

Check the wiring to make sure it is working correctly. You should notice a big difference in coil splitting- tap on the pickups' coils to tell if it is working right. Cool guitar!

Good call on the pickguard. I have the same deal with mine as well. One LP came with a guard already installed, so it stays. The other has no guard and no way am I drilling into it!!!

It's fabulous. The only issue being that I can hear that guitar begging, pleading for a pickguard. It's easy to do and your guitar will repay your kindness with incredible tonal bliss.

J/K, but I really do prefer pickguard. Yours dose look gorgeous either way though.

Only had a brief moment with the guitar yesterday. Got to play more today. Could definitely hear the coil tap on the clean channel. Sounds super nice. This guitar has a dozen easy tonal possibilities by itself. Best sounding guitar ive ever owned in 40 years.
I honestly didn't think my tone before i bought this could get any better but it did.

Glad it arrived good too! I have also had guitars shipped to me with just tape around the case... SCARY stuff when you see em coming off the truck like that.. Have been ok tho.
On the other hand.. Had a guitar arrive pretty tore up once. Cant recall the shipping co. DHL I think.. (Yellow and red logo) Do you recall Ascension? Was that black Salas..
