Just curiousity: Who still works at SD besides Seymour and MJ?

I recently bought some old pickups made by Lidia Daniel, Connie Rocha, Martha Cameron, Raul Araiza and of course Maricela Juarez. Who from the list still works there besides MJ and Seymour?

„If there is an extra letter at the end it reflects who actually wound your pickup: •A Raul Araiza (Single Coils) •B Leticia Bautista (Single Coils) •C Catalina Padilla (Rails) •D Debbie Nyquist (Humbuckers) •E Edward Madrigal (Humbuckers) •G Gloria Ocompo (Humbuckers) •J Maricella Juarez- 83′ on (Humbuckers, Single Coils, Stacks, Rails) •J Janice Salazar-til 83′ (Stacks) •L Lidia Daniel (Humbuckers) •L Leticia Quintero-87′-90′ (Stacks, Rails) •M Martha Cameron (Humbuckers, Single Coils) •O Oti Mora (Stacks, Rails) •P Lupe Perez-86′ on (Rails) •P Patty Vasquez-till 86′ (Stacks, Rails) •R Connie Rocha (Single Coils) •S Seymour Duncan (Humbuckers, Single Coils, Stacks, Rails) •V Joe Velez (Single Coils) •X Mai Xiong (Stacks)“

i dont know if we will get that info. would your company give out the names of the employees these days?

I'll point out the obvious to everyone:

Does it really matter in the scheme of things?

It's like asking who the farmer was that provided the tomatoes for your favorite jarred sauce.

… or who the craftsperson was that created a piece of art. So the question is, whether a vintage SD pickup has more in common with a tomato or an arts piece?

Hmmm i sent an email last week with a screenshot of my spreadsheet for the contact list for a client
and asked him to verify who was still there and who had left.

Seems the same question

I could see it being a a statement of these three are currently employed

Not with current status or title or work history
seems innocent enough
Not prying

Not asking if they are on medical leave or good or bad workers

Just are they still on the books as employees

My Korean (Duncan Designed), 59's, in my Daisy Rock, are the best pups I've ever heard.

Ooops. I forgot the PATB-1's, in my LP. They're pretty good too.

I don't get the point of asking such questions in this day & age, when the information travels quickly. "Are these people on your still on your books?" WTF, who's calling, is it the tax office, debt collectors, Larry Dimarzio? What do you want from us mate? :-))))
Want to know who's employed? Do your own research as suggested already, just don't go directly to the employer, it's a big NO. I'd be pretty pissed off if my employer would give away such info, especially without my knowledge or explicit consent. It'd be wrong on so many levels...

I've always wondered . . . how many people get on the bus, in Santa Barbara, on their way to work, and sit across from Maricelo, and never realize, she's responsible for some of the best rock-'n-roll ever heard.

I hope she's driving a Mercedes, to be honest.

Yeah, probably not a good idea. We can discuss initials as it pertains to labels on pickups, but that's about it.
