Just finished a song, whaddya think?

I've actually finished four, but haven't had much time to convert them from the Sonar file to wma for posting. Also gotta convert the midi files to audio on two songs, them mix those tracks down, yada yada....

My vocals stink, but personally I like this song. Yeah, yeah, I know I wrote it and played everything and so on, but I dig listening to it. I posted it awhile ago with only the bass, drums and rhythm guitar.

Did all the guitars with a Mooretone pickup loaded strat and my Antiquity loaded 75 Les Paul custom. Three tiny 1965 combos--Univox U45B, Fender Champ and Vox Student. The Champ is the one that continues to go at the end when the song is over along with the strat.

Thanks man, I appreciate that! I still hate my voice though, lol. Very thin and nasaly.

well done man...don't sell yourself short on the vocals...i think it fits the song good!

If you ask me that voice is a winner. Perfect for a rock band. Real class about it. The song is good also. I think it still needs developing though. It kind of thumps along instead of being smooth. You have all the elements there - great voice - good guitar playing etc. The song just needs 'maturing' if you get my meaning? Are you a new outfit? If you are then I reckon you are going places. I think your songs will become smoother as you develop the band. Still very good though. Great stuff.

Great tune. I think I liked the vocals more than anything else in this tune, so take that as a compliment to your singing. I could do with a little less of the band tacit stuff, but that's my only constructive criticism. Nice battling solos, too! Keep it up, bro.

Good song, your vocals didn't sound cheesy to me. I liked the dueling leads. Are you using any pedals with those amps?

Your song absolutely rocked! And your solo was great too. I loved it man.

Hey thanks a million guys. It means a lot to me. At this point in my life the "dream" is pretty much just that now, but if I can make someone happy they listened, then that's all I need. I appreciate all the advice as well. Can't give the people what they want if they don't tell you, lol.

As far as pedals, I only used a Vox Bulldog on the solos. The rhythms (did I spell that right?) were all straight into the amp with the volume on 8 or so. No masters on these amps.

Nice! I agree, you do have a great voice for that style...really compliments the music. Keep it up :)
