Just fired up my new Splawn .......

I got a Splawn off ebay, just arrived about an hour ago in pristine condition. Its a Quickrod v2 with the clean channel.

Man this thing sounds amazing!!! I gave all three gears a shot, and each voicing sounds awesome. The clean is light years away from the clean on my 2210. Now, back to playing it.

Ah, I saw that one! It's funny that a forumite bought it. At least we know where all the true junkies are! LOL

That white/cane looks cool. You should sell your cab and buy a matching Splawn 4-12 in white/cane. I'm pretty sure Vin 30's are a good match for that head.

Already thought about buying the cab :laugh2: I believe there is a pic of a Quickrod half stack on the site with the matching 4x12, and it looks awesome.

I'm going to wait a bit on it though. I first have to decide if I want to sell my old head, or if I can afford to keep it as a backup.

I'm gonna try and record some clips on Sunday. I bought a Presonus Inspire firewire interface months ago and I haven't used it yet.

Those things are pretty bright, especially the clean/dirty switch.
