Sticker on the back says 12B which means Screamin' Demon right? Any one have any info about them for me? I got to send it in to get re-leaded though, there is like 2 inchs of wire on it.
dude installing more lead is real easy if there's still some on there, just solder on another 4 conductor and tape off the connections. if it were a demon though, it'd say either sh-12 or tb-12. not sure if it'd have the B on the end though, since it only comes as a bridge model.
Yup. Probably an older one.
Stickers on older Duncan pickups were more cryptic than they are now. The whole model number wasn't printed, just the number, followed by a letter or two which were/was initial(s) of the employee who manufactured it.
The old ones have more mojo, better tone, and can be sold for $400 on E Bay.:9:
Not seeing where offense would be taken, but I would rather have a completely new lead than a taped off a soldered one, no? And it is an older model, looked up the number on the website.

if that's the case, there's multiple sources to order some online, it's usually about $1.25/foot. i usually order 5 ft. at a time actually. it's alot cheaper than paying for shipping the pickup and paying for the actual repair.
