This is turning out to be quite a handy toy for recording.
This clip was done with a Les Paul ('59/JB) and Apple's Garageband.
Here's the clip

Love it... Great tone for digital symulator!

Nice work. I have a POD XT (w/metal packs) and like it a lot. I haven't yet figured out how this Guitarport thing works but I have been using the XT for a couple years now I guess. I mainly use two or three tones I have really dialed in through a lot of recording.

Can you do anything with that that you can't on the dials? Do you guys use the USB input or just Line-In? Listen to my tune "The Patriot". That is all XT I think. I may have used my Pitbull for a couple licks but that is 95% POD XT (with a C5 in the bridge).

RGN, Is the metal pack worth it?
I'm fairly happy with the default setup, though I mainly use the spinal puppets and cali crunch models. Nothing else seems to be as clear. Definitely check out line6 edit. It doesn't really do anything that the XT itself can't do, but it makes it easier because it's all on one screen, and you can back up your patches on your computer.
