Just got an Edwards LP....

Just got an Edwards Goldtop LP w/ Duncan P-90's and it has 250k pots. The Duncan site has a diagram for standard P-90's and it shows 500k pots. Should I make the change? I keep forgetting how it works. Am I losing highs now or gaining them?
BTW, it's a killer guitar!!! I'm psyched!

Wow thats weird, all the pots in mine are 500k pots. Currently with 250k pots your losing some highs. If you think the highs are good enough just keep it the way it is, or you could try 500k pots if you want to experiment.

Congrats on the new guitar, welcome to the edwards club.

Wow i don't know what's up with Edwards but seems like everybody is getting one.

Well it's nearly as good as the original and not even half the price so....

Look i'm getting THIS Edwards this week (after paying the customs a TAX)

Thanks guys. I think for now, I'm just gonna go w/ it the way it is as I think it sounds really good. Maybe after a trial period I'll decide one way or the other whether I"d like more highs.

Whoa the Közi model, that's been discontinued for ages now, nice find!

Yeah. I've been looking for the kozi model for years.
Can't believe in found one.
But i still dream about the original one (ESP CUSTOM SHOP - with an ebony fretboard and a vin on it)

I wonder if these red covers are removable or if it's some kind of active design....
The stock pickups are edwards. My guess is i'll swap them for red duncans.

Yeah, the only guitar to ever have Red EMGs in it \m/ those things are freaking expensive, like $7k o__O!

Welll the original one has EMG's 81 but this one says "edwards" pickups.

My guess is the original one just has red covers replacing the stock covers. Anyway it should arrive tomorrow.

UNFORTUNATELY it will arrive tomorow at my PARENT's home so i'l have to wait for 2 weeks before i can FINALLY lay my hands on the beast.

I don't know if you know Malice Mizer but i saw mana twice in Paris was pretty cool.

hahah sucks for you man having to wait so long, I dig both Moi dix Mois and Malice Mizer and the jeune fille x is sweet but expensive :/

the Panther V is my favourite guitar ATM but too expensive so I might be getting a Gus G model instead.

I recently ordered the Edwards LP Custom in vintage white nitro... I'm pretty excited to get that one. I think it might be a few weeks, though.

sosomething, could you please post your impressions and photos when you get it? I am going to buy one too. by the way, are you getting the 90 'Laquer Taste' or the 85 poly finish version?
