It sure does.

Two mic/line inputs with their very good pres and phantom + 24/96 sample rate + very useful iPad lightning dock = big winner.

If I need a mobile recording platform this will be my first, and likely only, choice.

Man, Focusrite has been killing it lately.

I would get this in a heartbeat, but my iPad doesn't have a Lightning connector. There is a video of it out on a Sound on Sound. You can probably find it on YouTube.

This dock + iPad + Cubasis = all set!!

and every time Apple changes the product, the docks end up sitting on shelves unsold. You'd think that companies would figure that out.

Apple has changed their dock connector a total of ... drum roll ... one time since the iPod's debut in 2001.

The iTrack Dock has a sliding connector so it can accommodate any size of iPad.

So yeah, I think Focusrite is okay with this.

Neither does mine...

I hadn't noticed that initially, neither do I think I want to be forking out to replace my iPad2 just yet either. It'll just have to be parked until some time in the future I guess.

You could always still go with Cubasis and the iTrack Solo.

Seriously, though, that new interface looks cool. If I end up with one of the new iPads at some point, I'll have to give it a go.

I would grab it, but my mobile system is based on a Mac Mini and 2i2.
