just got my humbucker from hell!

i just got my brand new dimarzio humbucker from hell in the mail. Its for my warmoth double fat strat project which should be here in a week. the HfH is goin in the neck and its gona be paired with a SD Jb in the bridge. i just wanted to ask if any of u guys had this setup (or maybe just the HfH). I have heard a lot about the Jb, and i wana get some more feedback on the HfH. by the way, these are goin in a swamp ash body with a maple neck. thanks for your replies.

Iv herd the combo in a LP and it sounds very well, it really opened up the tone in the neck but im not sure how it will sound in a Strat type guitar. I would guess the HFH would sound a bit brighter, cleaner, and a little glassy.

eesh... JB + ash + maple.... that's gonna be brighter than hell bro, IMO. make sure you use 250k pots, and some sunglasses, that'l help alot. idk anything about dimarzios.

Well, the HfH is supposed to be a single coil-sounding humbucker, so it is supposed to be clean, bright and glassy. I hope that it isnt too bright like u guys are predicting however. If it is too bright for me, i can always return it, but since a lot of the nice strats are ash, i'm hoping to get that sweet strat neck pup sound out ouf this pup in this specific guitar. I guess we will see. thanks for ur comments guys. I would still love to hear whatever anyone else has to say about this so keep um comin!
