Just got new amp....

... And it AINT the Marshall 2203,.

I had a talk with my dad, as he had promised me a amp when i could play rhythm guitar properly which is what i have done almost.

So i had a big thing with Marshall amps, and had a 2203 from 79 i almost bought, but then it struck me, will i always just have one sound that 100000 other guitar players have, that famous marshall distortion? Yes i did wanted it, but also something more Heavy Metallish in it sound with out going over to black metal.

So i tried a Koch TwinTone II which i liked alot ,a JCM2000 DSL401, which to say it in a nice way didnt do anything for me.

Then i noticed a black box with grey grill and a big chrome logo over in a corner, a Engl Screamer 50 combo, i tried it and ******N, it blew me out of the place.

it sounded amazing and was just totally "me" you know.

So i ordered that and a Z-5 footswitch and i will get it on thursday, and pics will be there at that time.

Haha vi har nogle møg provokerende naboer der holder konstant fest såå hvis det sker igen, ryger volumen op på 10 og jeg spiller Battery

100,000 would be a very conservative estimate.

Congrats on the Screamer, I've wanted to try an Engl for quite some time.

So many players keep asking "what should I buy?" The bottom line is you have to go out and try them all out. When you said you found an "amp that was totally ME" I knew you found the right one.

Indeed, ENGL never really was in my considerations, but i tried it and i instantly could feel how to say it, i found something i couldnt explain, just something that little extra that beat the not so good JCM2000.
