Just installed a Wolfetone Humbucker on my MIM Strat.

This HB rocks! I like Seymour Duncans alot and believe them to be excellent products for the money, but the sound from Wolfe's handwound pups can't be beat. I was just about to sell this guitar for a MIA Strat, but now I plan to keep it and have Wolfe rewind the two single coils to make a bad ass MIM Strat that will put the MIA's to shame.

I'll try to sum up how the HB is different than the others I've tried.
-Even under heavy distortion you can still hear the individual strings.
-The sound is more "complex".
-The tone and volume knobs are useful. With the old Pup it just became muffled.

Have you used any other pickups in this strat before the Wolfes? Which Wolfe humbucker? I have the Caretaker and Marshallhead.

Carefull with singles if they are not hum cancelling. These days I lean toward noiseless.
