As some of you may know I got an old Marshall JCM800 Lead 412 a while back with old greenbacks in it, but it had no wheels so I haven't been able to take it anywhere yet. I got myself some screw on castors from an actual castor company (Fallshaw is the brand I think) and they are so good! The really crappy Marshall ones sell for about $25 a piece just because they're specialised...well these Fallshaw ones that are higher quality than the ENGL ones I've got cost me about $9 each and the rubber on them is so good that they should be much harder wearing than anything guitar manufacturers have ever used. The only hitch is that they are screwed on permanently which is really solid, but I can't just slip them off and on whenever I want. A cool thing though is how hard it was to screw in the screws, and how it made me get a nice blister right in the middle of my right hand from the screwdriver...so it must be nice birch ply because it was so hard to screw into!
They are awesome though, and now that I can take that cab I'm going to take my Komet with it to rehearsal tomorrow night and blow the heads off my band as well as everyone else in the building
