Matt...think about this. About 2 months ago I was ready to pull the trigger on a 1968 CA Custom reissue, then I found out that the wait was at least 10 months!

in that pic it looks more like a copper top than gold top
nice.

goldtops and p-90's dont do much for me, but it's nice nevertheless

Yep, I'm looking forward to it. I love Goldtops and P-90's. I have a couple Gibson's w/ P-90's and was always impressed with their P90 pups (much more so than Gibby Buckers). And...I'm something different.

I've post a review in September :)

I'd love to have one of those. I love the P-90's I have in my SG Junior's, but I'd love to have a Les Paul with them in it...especially a '56 RI. I shouldn't have g.a.s. since I just got my '76 RI Explorer a couple of weeks ago, but you know my weakness is Les Pauls. Thanks for making me dream of these again now.;):)

Nice score Matt. There are a couple of dealers that I might be able to point you towards that may have one in stock...if you're not already locked in. It's a super sweet axe, but I hate to see you wait 3 months...yikes.

Thanks, Jeff! I appreciate it. I'm not locked in per se, but I want to give my local Gibby dealer the business. They have treated me extremely well over the years and anytime I buy new, they get the business (and, they are cheaper than MF! Go figure!). I'm all about loyalty, so if I have to wait 3 months, so be it. It actually gives me time to get some cash stashed!

Matt...that's very cool. Not a lot of loyalty in the market these days...good for you. I hope the time passes quickly, and it's all you want in the guitar.
