My 40W RS works fine. I'm really gettin' the hang of this sodderin' thing. My guitars and amps all work, it hasn't burned the house down, and I haven't needed a skin graft for several months now.

One of my old favs is either a 40 or 45watts RS one, it's about 15 years old (or more) no comfort grip handle like they have now ... never failed yet, been through numerous tips though. Large conical tip though, and non-grounded ... so it stays away from a lot of PCB work.
