Cool man. Its has a nice look to it. I'm tired of seeing all the flamed tops on Les Pauls.

I wouldn't worry about the pickups. The owner seems to be quite knowledgable, with the wrapped bridge, and selective and cool upgrades like the historic rings and blank t-rod cover.
If they do sqeel it gives you are very good opportunity to check out some duncans for that cool axe.

hey, its me I just picked it up. it is SWEET!!!!!!! It was even cooler in person and is in almost mint condition. It sounds awesome too!! But I did run into one problem, like tatooed carrot said the pickups do squeal. only when there is high gain and it is turned up loud and it doesn't do it unless you face your amp from like a foot away. and it isn't that bad. but i took off the cover of the neck pu and put a peice masking tape on the slugs. i'm working on getting the cover off of the bridge pu I unsoldered it, but it will not come off i've tried for like an hour!! if anyone has any suggestions on how to pop the cover off, throw em at me. o ya and pickup recomendations are cool too. i want something not hot but versatile

Nice Guitar! I like those upgrades as well. Potting those pickups is mandatory IMO. Personally, I'd change the pickups to Custom 5/59 in nickel, but if you opt to keep it stock, remove them and dunk them in parafin wax. Forget about pulling them apart and adding tape. That sometimes works for midgain, but not highgain lead channels. You've got to pot them. Then, you'll be 100% satisfied. I love honeyburst!
