Just scored some cabs, anyone ever heard of Halifax amps/cabs?

A friend on mines coworker was selling a bunch of gear, and I got some cabs for super cheap. 2 are old column 4x12 PA cabs (I use 2 sunn column 4x12s for my guitar stack live) made by Halifax. Speakers are aluminum cone with Alnico magnets. Only thing it says on them on the back is a sticker that reads blo-out-pruf 12V 8 Ohm.

Anyone ever heard of Halifax or have any information on the company? I can't find anything on them.

No idea, but your live rig sounds ****ing insane.

Aren't those things bastards to shift around?

that has to be the most impractical but awesome design I've ever seen. it's taller than jolly, and he's like 7.5'.

that name does sound familiar.

also, I have a live pic of grateful dead using speakers with shiny silver cones like that (but in standard 4 x 12" type cabs).

I like the column cabs a lot, theyre light, and easy to pack in an SUV/station wagon compared to traditional square 4x12s. I play psychedelic/doom metal in a band called Clorange.

Heres my current rig, I have a bit of a hoarding problem haha. The XXX and PA head aren't mine though.

Were they made in Nova Scotia?
