Well, I have been wanting to get my hands on a more traditional Tele. I had a G&L ASAT Deluxe, which was amazing, but I wanted something with a more traditional Tele tone. I thought about snagging a used Suhr Classic T, considered a local MIchael Tuttle Tele, thought about the higher end Fender American Teles but really wanted something with my exact specs. I stumbled upon Bob Logan and his work thorugh Google searches

Bob does custom builds that are much more friendly to your pocket, as he does not built his necks, but orders them from Warmoth (I believe). I told Bob I wanted the following specs:
Alder body with flame maple top done up in translucent yellow finish, with maple cap left to appear as binding on edge of body.
Maple neck with maple board, 22 SS jumbo frets, 12' radius, no inlays, Goto locking tuners with probably a tusk nut and a nitro finish on back of neck
white pickguard with standard Tele controls
Vintage style ashtray bridge with compensated brass saddles
Probably DImarzio Area T pickups
FInal total is $1059.
I am excited to get this in my hands!
