ITS SURF GREEN! The tuners WILL BE subpar and ITS BASICALLY A TOM DELOUNGE GUITAR WITH A P-90!!!?!?!

Well its the p90 that counts for me! Don't know... it's weird, and I know I shouldn't be attracted to it, but I am nonetheless. I would miss a neck pickup, but hey, it's cheap enough I could take a chainsaw to it and not feel sorry about it... a little routing work;) as for the tuners, they were crap on my last Jay Turser, so I don't expect too much, I don't think I'd leave a bit of hardware on it stock in the first place. As for the color... never had much of a problem with surf green myself, and it adds to the general weird vibe, so why not? (there are black and sunburst ones also on auction)

Unless you are 100% sure you want a guitar, you will probably end up regretting it, i'd say leave this one.



Although saying that i do like it too, a bit wierdy, but ive always liked that green anyway.

maybe I'm a little strange...what's not to laike about it...P-90's kill! Seafoam Green is a cool as hell colour, and it's only $180.00!!! sure it's not a Gibson, sure the tuners more than likely suck but for $180.00 you won't find another set neck, solid wood guitar! I've played worst guitars that I paid better money for! I for one say...DO IT!!!

Ugly and strange are subjective ...let's look at this another way :

1) It is only cut for one pickup. Should you decide to play with a dremel, you'll have to be careful-as-all-get-out not to ruin anything, as I'm sure that standard replacement parts won't fit.

2) What kind of wood is under that paint ?

3) Double ( at least) the price listed when you throw in upgrades.

You are suffering from a minor case of G.A.S. Sit back, take an antacid and a few hours of ASL, and you'll be just fine.

It's not a good quality guitar, so why waste your money? DanteG is right, you can't polish dog excrement.

Surf green isn't a bad color, it's just that why would you want to be limited to a bridge P90?

GAS for something good like a Gibson LP Junior or a PRS Soapbar McCarty, but not this ****.

hmm... I'm not nearly so drunk now, and oddly enough I'm not completely repulsed by the sight of that guitar. I think it does have a nice vibe appearancewise... and the guy who invented had some good arguments... but you guys are right about the lack of neck pickup and cost of new components and the fact that it's a piece of sh!t in the first place (most likely).

I can find better things to do with 200 bucks. (and a few of them don't involve drugs or sex;))Thanks for the opinions!
