Kendrick is Gerald Weber's company but they have nothing to do with Weber VST.

From what I can tell the Kendrick speakers are clones of the old Jensen "black frame" speakers you used to find in old Fender amps. What I really want to know is if they are any good...

I had a kendrick's Black Frame 10" in my Princeton. It was a Drastic improvment from the Stock speaker. Like a idiot:smack: I sold it because I thought it was the culprit in why I was getting ratty distortion. Turns out it was the goofy Torres mod I did combined with a bad power tube. I've got a Weber Cali series in it now,But I wish I still had the Kendricks.:blackeye: I never heard the Weber vintage series,But Imagine there close. To my ears when the amp was operating right. The kendricks sounded like a beefy really Good jensen. If you check out my soundclick link in my sig. Both tunes where

It's a good speaker. I didn't think he still offered them though. I've tried the black frame and the green frame and like them both alot. They're not clones of anything but the green (or was it brown???) frame had more of a British tone if I remember right and the black frame was more like a heavy duty Jensen C10Q or C10N. When it comes to 10's, I like Ted Weber's best though. I like the one that he used to call the "C10Q" but which now has a number instead...sounds like a killer '66 Jensen C10N. I'm not a huge fan of Ted's 12's but I think he makes the nicest 10's currently in production.

I was hoping you'd see this Lew...I am looking at an amp and it already has the Kendrick 10's in it...Im pretty sure that they are better than the stock speakers but I have never tried any out.

I think you'll like them. I forget who made them...it wasn't actually Gerald who made them. He farmed them out to someone but it wasn't Eminence. My brother Bruce knows...

well...I bought the amp that they are in (see new amp thread) so I should know something with in a few days...
