im kinda new to this forum.i'll introduce my gear, i play a 57 reissue teaburst, a mex. fender esquire" gettin' ready to throw an antiquity in the bridge. ai have an early 70's ampeg v-4b through a 412 cab, with some kind of celestions, i forgot which model.i have an old silvertone combo i cant find any model numer or name on it. i also have a valve junior that i put a standby switch in. and a epiphone pacemaker thats in the shop right now. i plug into a ehx double muff then a budda wah. im after that early jeff beck group tone i know he used a fuzz face in the yardbirds and he also used a tonebender. im looking for a tonebender fuzz to add to my getup, and maybe also a fuzz face. has anyone heard any reveiws about the carls custom guitars 2 in 1 fuzz face tonebender, i want to know if there any good?http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...BOFF:IT&viewitem=&item=200128549758&rd=1&rd=1sorry for the long post, i am playing my guitar!

Re: kinda new here

thank you for the comments, im looking to get a "tonebender" sound. i dont want to spend 500 dollars and get a real solasound. have any suggestions. there is a 2 in 1 custom pedal by carls custom guitars and its like a fuzz face and a tonebender, i want a 3 germanium transister fuzz . b.y.o.c. also looks nice.

Re: kinda new here

ToneFactor has ProAnalog Mk IIs for about $250.

Sweet Sound has a new fuzz called the ProBender.

I have a Prescription Yardbox that's still my favorite, but they can sound just a little thin sometimes.

Another one that looks (and sounds) interesting to me is Retroman's Lola.

If cost is an issue, look for a used Fulltone Soul Bender, or the Yardbox if you can find one.
