Kiwi Bros, Jansen Jazzman II value?

My mate has inherited a 1961 Jansen Jazzman II from his dad and is wanting
to know it's value. It's a bit beat up, has had a headstock repair at some stage
and some of the wood removed to look like an arrow headstock.
It's missing most of the knobs but has it's very ratty original hardcase as in the pic.

I've attached a pic of the model though his is painted all black. (get the pun?)

I remember seeing quite a few Jansens back in the 70's as well as their amps
though they're becoming scarce.

Any info would be great.

Cheers, Will

Re: Kiwi Bros, Jansen Jazzman II value?

Worth about the same as a tucket to the crucket or a meal of fush n chups.
Very similar to Matons of the same era.
What do you reckon that first control on the lower part of the scratchplate does,Willy???
There was a site a few years ago that had lots of info on Kiwi axes like Jansen and Holden, but I can't seem to find it today.
BTW. Did you respray it by any chance? ; )

Cheers,PJ
