Yes, I have the Klon in my possession. Yes, I've brought it home. No, I haven't had a chance to use it yet. I met up with a buddy of mine (and bassist in a former band) for a drink last night after work. Got home, had a late dinner, then it was time to read with the boys and get them to bed. The Klon doesn't mix well with sleeping kids.

Tomorrow the boys have the day off from school -- something about a teachers' professional day or some such thing -- so they're staying over the grandparents' house tonight. However, I'm going out for a romantic dinner with the wife after work. We'll get home, and it'll be just the two of us. I can't remember the last time that happened, but I have a feeling we won't be hooking up and jamming with the Klon. Hooking up, probably. (wink, wink) Jamming, no.

I know what y'all are thinking: "Get your priorities straight, idiot!" Fire away.

You could always do like George Costanza on "Seinfeld" and keep the Klon in the night table next to the bed...slip it out of the drawer...have a quick play....then, get back to business:bigok: :bigok: :smokin:

Naah, I just got sick of my avatar, with all the Britney crap going around. My wife doesn't "make" me do anything. We're not like that. :)

I know, I know. Truth be told, I've still only put about thirty minutes on this pedal. This has been a busy week for me, and not guitar-wise. :(

So far, I've experimented with this setup: Les Paul Std. > Time Machine Boost (clean boost) > Klon > Caitlin. I get a very cool, Blues Breaker era Clapton-esque tone. Kick in the boost for that extra oomf. (Is that how one spells "oomf"?)

I've got way more experimenting to do! (And I promise a better review and some clips...hopefully this weekend.)

In answer to your question, I think "Oomf" is spelled with a silent "p"-> "Oompf":smokin:

Sounds good, I've always wanted a Klon but they are too rich for my blood right now. So I've just live vicariously through everyons clips...so post some soon. :smokin:
