I used reverb for a long time, then didn't. Of course, now I miss it. So what are you guys using for the 'verb these days?

I'm not sure if I have the technical know-how to actually BUILD a spring reverb unit.:eyecrazy:

Re: Know any good reverb pedals under $100?

Try the Verbzilla. I think I paid $109 for mine. Very good sounding Reverb.

Re: Know any good reverb pedals under $100?

The Verbzilla is excellent. Being in the UK I don't know whether you can get one for under $100, but if you can it's a great pedal.

Re: Know any good reverb pedals under $100?

Used Verbzilla on a good day
Used Holy Grail more days
Used Holy Grail Plus some days
Verbzilla tone core module and dock - where ever that thread is...

Re: Know any good reverb pedals under $100?

see if you can score a used t-rex tonebug reverb. awesome little pedal. they retail for 149 new so you might be able to pull it off. Failing that id say the EHX holy grail or even the holy grail nano if you need less flexibility.

Re: Know any good reverb pedals under $100?

Check out the Danelectro Spring-King...It's a huge pedal (real spring in that thing), fairly cheap used and it sounds marvelous through my rig.

Re: Know any good reverb pedals under $100?

I'm not much on these little digital reverb pedals but there are a lot of them out there therse days and almost any of them can be had for $100 or less used...

I've seen used Verbzillas for $60
The Hermida sells used for about $80
The Lee Jackson is about the same price as the Hermida
The Malekko Chicklet is only $120 new
The new Boss is $130 new

There are more...

FWIW, if I were going to use a digital reverb pedal I'd use the EH Holy Grail. Tey are about 120 new but the older sheetmetal versions can be had all day for $75.

Re: Know any good reverb pedals under $100?

I've heard very very good things about the verbzilla, but I have not used one personally
