Korg or Boss portable studio?

I am looking for something around 300 or 400 bucks. Nothing too complicated but nothing too easy to use. I have looked at the Boss BR-600 and the Korg
D4. I rather do a portable studio since I really don't have much room on my laptop to do a recording program on there.

Re: Korg or Boss portable studio?

There's a new Zoom H4 coming out. 4-track recording with 24/96, two condensor mics, external mic power, and it's SMALL! Totally portable. Comes out this fall. Beats the Edirol and M-Audio products of the same range. Not really a studio at all, but for a variety of recording situations, one instrument at a time, or for gig references later, it's very convenient. Live performance is always best, so location recording can often have some magic that studio work doesn't.

Cheers:)
