Nice pics - particularly the Hamer Artist Korina and they are amazing guitars. Pity the old camera gave out as I am sure that they were plenty you could have taken. Glad that you and Jeff met up and enjoyed yourselves - did you get your BJ amp sorted out? Hope so as I am sure that you will be making sweet musaic out of it.

Yes. The Blues Jr is fine now there was a tech at the show.
It turned out the power tubes were both worn out and one shorted out and blew the fuse. I learned something. It had GT tubes the tech said that are the red Logo turns to a brown color it is time to replace them.
The seller will pay for the tubes. The tech only had a pair of Russian tubes. He said he would rather put the JJs in it but that was all he had. The tech looked it over and then played through it and said it was fine.
Yep it sounds sweet with my Artist Custom.

I was at the show, Lou, but I guess I missed you and Jeff, sorry. I was Jonesing for the Ash Strat and was trying to trade a Silver Sparkle Strat my friend brought with him but it didn't work out. I ended up not buying anything, so my wife was happy.
The Korina Hamer did catch my eye, because of th F hole
Anyway if you ever come down to Charleston, PM me and I'll give you a tour of the shop I work on Saturdays, we have the largest inventory of good and bad (mostly bad) guitars in the Low Country
