THAT was a sweet ride, although either the Challenger or the driver had something wrong with them if you smoked it that badly. You should have won, but not killed. My dad had a 1973 Pontiac Grand Prix with the 400, and even though it wasn't a true musclecar (I guess), that thing would smoke the tired by just TOUCHING the accelerator. I was only eighteen or so and I didn't clock the thing 0-60, but it would pin you back in the seat when you hit it. My mechanic had a cherry 66 triple black tripower convertible, and there was a guy in the neighborhood who had a cherry red with a white interior and top 65 or 66 convertible for a short period around 1992 when the neighborhood got really bad. He sold it because he just didn't trust the neighborhood as far as vandalism and theft. Too bad.
