One of the guys on the Sneap forum posted this - It's the pedal used as a preamp into a Peavey Classic 60 tube poweramp. No clue on mic and cabinet, I'll get those details later.

Wow.... that sounds amazing! Is it just me or does that not sound like a pedal? I guess the tube poweramp would help with that.

Wow.... so most of the coolness we're hearing is from the pedal. Hopefully there's a Krank dealer close to me.

Sounds like a distortion pedal to me.....not really surprised though, seeing as it is a distortion pedal.

Anyone who thinks that sounds like an tube amp needs to get their ears checked.

I don't think it sounds like a tube amp, but it does have a lot of the qualities of Krank amps (or at least the stuff I've heard on recordings).

Sounds a bit like a pedal to me. Match it up with some V-30's and I might like it a little better .

No, but I've just listened to some of their stuff on myspace and I think the tone is good but doesn't sound special to me. It does sound metal! But it's kind of a sharp tone. Not my cup of tea, I'm more into rounder tones.

Most krank stuff I've heard had a high end that is too piercing to my ears, some bands sounded plain nasty! Even after listening to a Marshall using band first.

Sounds alright... The Line6 uber metal is cheaper and more versatile and as far as I can tell now, sounds way better.
