L500XL love

Just tried my first Bill and Becky L500XL and L500R (bridge/neck pair). I'm rather impressed. Not thin or ice picky, but balanced, bright, aggressive, very present midrange, full low end, and remarkably clear. Very, very cool sound and response. I do like them better than the SH13 Dimebucker. I may drop some in another guitar or two. 6472.webp

What do you think of the neck? A lot more people have used the bridge than one of the neck models
I think it's rather good!! Similar qualities to the bridge, but a balanced output. I usually like a 59 or Jazz for the neck depending on the guitar, and the L500R is higher output than those, but still sings without being overly midrangy like an Air Norton or APII. It still has that remarkable clarity too. Very very cool in itself, and impressive. Mighty fine designs.

I'll also add that the cleans are phenomenal for bridge and neck. That surprises me even more. I'm usually that 80s thrash/metal cleans (Sanitarium type). These are some of the better cleans I've ever heard.
