Lace problem - need help!

I have a Lace Sensor Chrome Dome that has the red output wire come off - Does anyone know how to get inside this pup without wrecking it? Without that red wire connected its as dead as a Dodo, of course!

Yes, this dead little guy is in my parts drawer, and I cant seem to figure out how to get the cover off without spilling her guts.. seems the cover maybe encased in epoxy perhaps?

I think you're out of luck. I think the epoxy runs so deep that even the folks at the Lace factory couldn't get in there without damaging it. Call them and ask of they will replace it, it's worth a shot.

This one is chrome dome, has a cover like a Tele neck pickup.. tried to pry it gently to see if it would lift, but no dice. Indysg and I ( his pickup) decided to see if any more info/help could be had before proceeding.. I foresee a shout out to lace on this one..
