malapterurus electricus tonewood instigator
I hear the Alumitone neck has been given high praise for its pristine clarity, but the bridge has been criticized for being too thin. But I also hear that the Deathbucker version of the Alumitone is extremely versatile in the bridge. I figured that this would be a more modern version of the high output bridge, P.A.F. neck. But I don't know how well they pair together in terms of tone or output, as they were designed as parts of different sets, with the standard being for cleaner, more "intelectual" music, while the Deathbuckers were made for metal and the like. Anyone got any advice?
