Lakland PUP replacements

anyone use SD's in their Lakland 55-02 or 55-94's? if so do you like em and which pickups did you use? can you only swap the MM and leave a Bart in the front spot? also is it a split coil? thanks

you can swap only the mm if you want and they are 4 conductor so split ting isnt a problem. i love the duncan alnico musicman pup, nice rich tone with good clarity and punch

I played an Ibanez with the SD in it and I was blown away by the sound I love mt Lakland but the Barts are not exactly the sound I want so i am goint to give it a shot thanks now if I could get one quick.... anyone know where i could get one quick?

Any USA Seymour Duncan / Basslines dealer can get them in a week. I have the alnico MM in a Jackson bass and I love it. Make you pair it with the Basslines STC-3MM pre-amp.

FWIW the Fralins in the Joe Osborne model sound amazing.
