Lalya break - Edana

Re: Lalya break - Edana

That was beautiful, Layla is my favorite song, and you did it justice very well! Great clean tone with the Edana, what speakers were you using?

Re: Lalya break - Edana

That was great. Thats a tone I associate with the Fender blackface. Is that the aim of the Edana? Very nice. Smooth.

Re: Lalya break - Edana

The Edana is based off of a Marshall JTM-45 circuit, with KT66 tubes and a tube rectifier. Stratman and many others have claimed that it can get Fender cleans and Marshall distortion in one amp, and from this clip, I believe them.

I normally play hot blues, but for Scott_F, I decided to play some clean tunes to show off the capabilities of this amp.

I am using a 2x12 Cab loaded with Marshall V30 and G12H - open back not less...

Re: Lalya break - Edana

sh%t !!!! what a clean tone!! i thought you were playing an acoustic at the begining.. :laugh2:

:beerchug:

The recorded tone is beautiful, but to be in the same room with it....:32:

Just a huge full 3D type of thing.

Re: Lalya break - Edana

Thanks again Larry. I'll get them posted as soon as I get a free moment. (hopefully this week)

Now I need you to rock out with your 0000 out and record some grind for these Marshall-types that keep bugging me for samples! :) :)

Re: Lalya break - Edana

Sounds beautiful! Some of the best cleans I've heard in a long time. If that amp can also do the Marshall thing like everyone says it can, then it's my ideal amp.

Thanks for the GAS-o-meter boost.

I believe that you stated you wanted some cleans - so that what you got.

I can rock hard anytime and will be sending some sweet and bitch tunes this week end.

Re: Lalya break - Edana

That is a beautiful sounding clean . . . how are the cleans with humbucker type guitars?

Very cool, would still like to hear some Cream, or Zep on the Edana.

+1. I want to hear its distorted tone capabilities now that I have a good idea of its clean sounds.
