Hey all ,
Got a Laney Cab,
dont know sod all about it. Opened it up, Has 4 Celestion speakers named k10t-200 8ohm.
Does this mean that each one is 200W ?

Also, does this mean that the cab would be 800W overall or 200W ?

Also, what Ohm would it be overall ?

Any feedback would be cool :D

If the cab is loaded with 10s it's more than likely a total rated 200 watt cab with all 4 speakers....If the cab is a stereo cab, you'd probably have 2 speakers using 8 ohms total(Each set of speakers would be 8 ohms)....If it's a mono cab,it could be wired series/parallel for 16 ohms? Could also be 4 16 ohm speakers wired for 4 ohms total load? Put a speaker cable in the speaker jack and put an ohmmeter across the tip and negative part of the cable and see what the cab reads?

Can you take a picture of the speakers and how they're wired? Is there just 1 speaker jack or stereo jacks, multiple mono jacks?

Hmm, I dont think I would be able to get a picture unless I took it all apart. Yes they are 10s, each one says 8ohms on it. On the back, there are 2 jack sockets and what looks to be XLR male and female. Any Suggestions ?

Cheers !

Found exactly the same speakers as mine on an ebay auction and here is the description

Brand new old stock from Celestion. 10 inch speakers. Bid price is for both.8ohms. 200 watts rms. 2.5" inch voice coil, Frequency response 70-6 khz. Magnet weight 35 oz. Fs 67.1, SPL 96 db, Vas: 1.17 cu ft. Qms: 8.394, Qes: .469, Qts .445, Xmas: 1.5 mm, Net weight is 7.5 lbs.

Anyone got any suggestions from that ?

That's a killer 10 to be able to handle that wattage.

Not likely 80's, but possible.

What model Laney Cab has 10's in it? Is it a Tube-fusion cab?
