2x6v6's (come with gt's but we can do better then that) and 2 12ax7's.
3 knobs. Tone, Volume, Gain.

Isn't that all we need?? Oh it's also got an 8/16 ohm output that d/c the main speaker

Anyway the amp
Looks like smaller cooler versions of the Fender Juniors (Blues and Pro Junior).
Is it in stores yet?

Yeah, i'd probably replace the speaker with a celestion blue clone though!!

Just tested a Cub8 earlier. That little amp is LOUD! I tried to crank it up to 10 and I don't hear any distortion... just some "little" overdrive. Not sure if it's something I'd want for a "bedroom" amp. It seems too loud and too clean for a 5-watter? I wonder how it handles pedals? Or how well it would work with a POD 2.0?

The Cub10 will probably suit me better. I know it's 10 watts and class A/B, so it's going to be an entirely different amp, but at least it's got a gain knob?

The Cub8 can be had here for 150USD. Great price!
