Well i've decided to buy a Laney VC-30 as opposed to a silverface bassman head. I paid about $500 for this amp and it's in mint condition. The original owner changed the stock speakers to vintage Jensen Special Design speakers. Any comments on the speakers?
I like the sound of the clean side of the VC-30 a lot. Very AC-30 ish, but a little cleaner. What are your opinions on the amp? Any comments or issues you've had with the amp. I got the 2x12 version of the amp.
BTW, where do I buy a footswitch pedal for this amp? The original owner didn't get the pedal with the amp. All of the popular internet music stores don't seem to carry Laney or Laney parts anymore. Anybody know where I can buy a footswitch for this amp?
