playing is good, but the guitars all have too much mids and sound kind of crowded, though i'm just guessing that it's because you did it straight into your computer. cool stuff though:D

have you checked out the toneport yet?;)

yeah basically every guitar has the same eq but it has that proggy sound that i like =) . this is just putting a riff down on paper though (or...hard drive?). when i incorporate it into the final song it will all be played through my amp and recorded with my various mics. or not, i tend to not record finished songs cuz thats quite a big project and just love playing live too much to bother!

i probably wont get a toneport, though you've shown how versatile it is. this soundcard method is just for when i'm messing around or its too late to crank up my tube amp.

it sounds crowded? hmm...i was actually under the impression that the mix was really trippy and spacey! i think the problem is after i had everything carefully placed in the stereo mix i ended up going mono. i do notice now that the harmony guitars are overpowering the rhythm guitars. when i build on this to show the other guys my vision and structure for the song i'll definitely utilize the sonic space some more!

thanks for the feedback sir

so thats what it was(with the mono/stereo mix up) otherwise it sounds pretty cool, the flange is pretty spacey though(in a good way):)

That sounded really cool, considering it's straight into the computer. I could never get a nice sound like that which was why I bought my Toneport.

Good job!
