I'd pay someone to punch me in the face before I'd pay $70 for a cable.

Dude... maybe it's too expensive for you or not worth it to you but you're just making yourself look like a gigantic ass posting stuff like that.

It was kinda funny though.

I got a laugh out of it too. $70... For a cable... I thought I was insane when I paid $55 for a Pro Co Sir Tweed 20 foot cord 3 years ago...

Cool. What kind of connectors are you using?

PVC covering = god.

I use Neutrik (for all straight) and G&H (for most right angle) connectors

Hmm, sounds interesting..... out of curiosity, any plans for an "armored" version with either a cloth or metal jacket on top?

Although there's a market for everything, I'd have to agree.

+1

Aren't guitar pickups, pedals, and amps designed and voiced with "normal" capacitance cables in mind? We're not dealing with hi-fi audiophile stuff here where the entire audible tonal spectrum is being funneled through one or two cables from component to component... Most of our (classic) celebrated guitar tones today were achieved with one of those long, curly cables anyway.

I'm not saying there's no point to having a cable like this on the market, but at some point lowering the capacitance of the cable is going to have a percieved negative affect on the musicality of the tone to a lot of ears.

EDIT: Let me state for the record that I'm not trying to crap all over Lavaman's thread - I've never used one of HIS cables before (though I have used very expensive low-capacitance cables in the past) and my thoughts on that kind of product aren't really the point of this thread anyway.

Different cables sound different, and your tonal chain will only be as good as its weakest link.

If you guys prefer a different cable, great, regardless of the reasons. But this thread is not the place to discuss them. IMO it´s quite tactless to derail a for sale thread in such a fashion.... Maybe we should crap all over your next classified thread and see how you like it?

"I´m selling a Gibson for XXXX"

"Gibson´s suck, get an Edwards"
"Yeah Gibsons are way too expensive"

*steps down from soapbox*
