Lazy funk....

Re: Lazy funk....

Well this is the tone that Frank Gambale needs (though he doesn't realise it).

It doesn't go muddy during chords either.

It's a top tone for a fusion player.

As always your playing is great.

Re: Lazy funk....

It is a good jazzamp, but way too polite for much else, and the overdrive was using a bitesetting our boss liked, but I hated it...to nice and too little bite, the delay had too little feedback volume, plus it was beginning to sound a bit mute in tone.
So I recorded this to show him, and then I/we changed both the overdrive and delay.

Thanks Nuntius, I will use this back later with another amp and pedals:laugh2:
I really do not like neither the sound of that version of the overdrive and delay or the amp much after much evaluating.
Too mute and far away, the amp was not giving much...I find it to be tame and lacking balls.
But I tried to play something fitting, since I liked the track.

Hmm dark sounds must be in nowadays:laugh2: I prefer chruncy open stuff myself, I like what others considers "bright" hehe
